The 2009 Corset Cruise will be held Saturday, June 27, in beautiful Southern Oregon. This motorcycle rally is a pink ribbon fundraiser to provide diagnosis and treatment for local women with breast cancer. It is hosted by the Wild Rogue Chapter of Women In the Wind.

Here's how it works: We provide a 100-mile poker run with a party at the end. You show up dressed in your Mardi Gras finest! This event is open to men and women who like to ride motorcycles and want to raise money for a good cause. The Corset Cruise has raised over $20,000 for mammograms & breast cancer treatment for local women since it began in 2005.

Dressing up is optional -- but it's half the fun! In our first four Corset Cruise event we have seen lingerie, feather boas, tiaras, rhinestones, leather, lace and just about everything in between. Some people decorate even decorate their bikes! But if you just want to come ride with us, and enjoy the sights, come on down.

The ride is a poker run that will begin at D&S Harley-Davidson and end at the Grants Pass Truck & Motorcycle Festival at Riverside Park. We'll join the community party there, with live music, drawings, food, beer and more. The quilt in the photo below will be raffled off, and we'll have prizes for some of our lucky riders.

Registration is $20 and includes a poker hand, corset cruise pin and -- this year -- a T-shirt!  Extra hands are $10. To register, send a check made out to WITW - Wild Rogue to: Nancy French, PO Box 333, Grants Pass, OR 97527. Be sure to include your name, address, phone and email.
